We are so in love with vintage clothing!!! The best place to shop for vintage is www.ETSY.com. People sell so many awesome used goods and 95% of the products are true designer labels. Lumete Eyewear

Two fly chicks got together and created this awesome eyewear collection just last year. These sunglasses are super fabulous and under $200. Honestly, these may be the hottest sunglasses I have seen since Roberto Cavalli but that's just an opinion. Here are a few pair and the kit that comes with every pair that you purchase. A pair of these sunglasses is definitely worth the investment.

Spring on the Fashion!

Since SHOE WARS was such a hit, let's keep the fun going! Purple Candied is looking for the hottest Spring/Summer 2011 designer pieces and this time there is a Simon mall gift card up for grabs! Post your favorite pieces on the Purple Candied wall during the month of April to find out if your style is the most liked by the people! At the end of the month the Spring on the Fashion awards will be held to determine who posted the hottest trends. I recently contacted Kurt Geiger online inquiring about US shipping and to my surprise shipping to the US is not available. The response I received from the Kurt Geiger online was very friendly and it was stated they are working towards getting US shipping. :-/ No expected date was given.

SHOE WARS anyone?

Starting March 11, 2011 Purple Candied will hold a shoe war event. If you feel that you can bring the hottest or the craziest shoe style, post your shoes on the Purple Candied facebook wall and let the people vote! Post your flats, pumps, boots, or sandals and the user with the most votes will be the winner! The winner will be announced the following Saturday and will receive their gift card of choice from: Macys, Target, Forever 21, Best Buy, or H&M. Who will be the ultimate shoe war queen?

Rules:

All shoe styles must have the designer name, the year the shoe was released and the participant name in the caption field
All shoes styles must be posted on the facebook wall between the hours of 12:00a.m-11:59 p.m. (eastern time) the day of the war
All shoe styles must have professional studio pictures. Camera phone, Polaroid pictures or low quality photos will not be allowed.
Participants will not be allowed to post duplicate shoe styles each week. If the same shoe style is submitted for the same war by different participants, the 1st users post will be honored.
Participants can post as many styles as they wish the day of the war. The more shoes the happier!
Athletic shoes will not be accepted.
Bring your “A” shoe game and HAVE FUN!!!
