Let's Start a Cross Promote Community!

Mostly all business owners want their company to grow into being very successful.  There are so many business owners trying everyday to grow sales, and get more blog hits.  The one issue that I am seeing a lot of is the lack of wanting to help each other in business.  Yes, we all want to make money but sometimes it shouldn't always be about a dollar.  There are some charities that all they do is just give back to the community, and they probably see more money per year than a national retail store.

I wish that people would understand that there is enough money for EVERYONE if you are willing to WORK HARD and get it.  If you know someone who has a successful blog site and you are trying to establish your product, just ask if they would be willing to do a giveaway to help you in promoting.  I really would like to start a community where we help ourselves and each other succeed.  I am looking for some help with this, even if it's just a Facebook page to cross promote, I think that it would be beneficial to all small business owners.  With all the search engines and ads, social media is probably the quickest and FREE way to put your company out there.  Just think, if you have 5 other business owners who post your product or your link on their site, that is a possibility of reaching 5 totally new markets that you didn't know you had!  I may not be the best blog writer but one thing I do know is the more people that see your product, the more chances you have at making a sale.  If it costs you $0 to help a business owner wouldn't you love for the favor to be returned?  In the end, if you could grow sales 20%-30% in a month for FREE would you do it?  Yes, you would.

Spring on the Fashion!

Since SHOE WARS was such a hit, let's keep the fun going!  Purple Candied is looking for the hottest Spring/Summer 2011 designer pieces and this time there is a Simon mall gift card up for grabs!  Post your favorite pieces on the Purple Candied wall during the month of April to find out if your style is the most liked by the people!  At the end of the month the Spring on the Fashion awards will be held to determine who posted the hottest trends. If you are a designer, post your original items or if you are just a fashion lover post anything from Nail colors to T-Shirts! The winner will be announced on May 1, 2011.

SHOE WARS anyone?

Starting March 11, 2011 Purple Candied will hold a shoe war event.  If you feel that you can bring the hottest or the craziest shoe style, post your shoes on the Purple Candied facebook wall and let the people vote!  Post your flats, pumps, boots, or sandals and the user with the most votes will be the winner!  The winner will be announced the following Saturday and will receive their gift card of choice from: Macys, Target, Forever 21, Best Buy, or H&M.  Who will be the ultimate shoe war queen?

Rules:

• All shoe styles must have the designer name, the year the shoe was released and the participant name in the caption field
• All shoes styles must be posted on the facebook wall between the hours of  12:00a.m-11:59 p.m. (eastern time) the day of the war
• All shoe styles must have professional studio pictures. Camera phone, Polaroid pictures or low quality photos will not be allowed.
• Participants will not be allowed to post duplicate shoe styles each week.  If the same shoe style is submitted for the same war by different participants, the 1st users post will be honored.
• Participants can post as many styles as they wish the day of the war.  The more shoes the happier!
• Athletic shoes will not be accepted.
• Bring your “A” shoe game and HAVE FUN!!!
